the breathing problems and heart rate fluxuations seem to be under
control. They've moved him down to yet another ICU in the main
hospital that's not as roomy for visitors, but there's a full-time MD
in the unit, which is what he needs right now.
Today is another day.

Thank you guys for keeping the info coming. You and your Dad are in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteThis is your dad's neighbor, Sharolyn Esgar (right next door to the north). Thanks so much for keeping us all updated in your blogs. We are praying for your dad daily and are glad he is slowly making some progress. If it helps you at all, I used to be a nurse there in the Med/Surg ICU at St. Johns (which is where it sounds like your dad is at now) for 5 years and it comforts me to know he's in the best hands. If there's anything you need either there or at home, feel free to knock on our door (or call 314-479-5503).
ReplyDeleteStill hoping he can be awake by Christmas but at this point, we'll pray for continued improvement! I'll be checking back often!

Cindy
