Dad made it out of surgery and is stable in the St Joeseph's HeartHospital ICU. They had some issues with the special ventilation in the

beginning and the surgery took longer than they anticipated, but the  surgeon and the anasthesiologist both seemed to think everything went well.

He's had his lower and middle lobes of his right lung removed, and they'e not sure what caused the problem in the first place.
Preliminary pathology doesn't seem to indicate any tumors, but we should know for sure by the middle of next week.

He's stable and hopefully they'll be able to wake him up tomorrow.
