The breathing issues are being caused by an infection in his right
lung. The doc suctioned a large amount of mucous out of the right
lung, though the left one still seems to be clear. They're also
putting him on some antibiotics and changing the ventilator to one
with more humidity. The pulmonologist thinks they'll probably need to
suction him a few more times before he feels comfortable taking him
off the ventilator.
